Grandia II

Oooh, I loved it! <3 For the Dreamcast, of course. >:p The only beef I had with this game was that they didn't keep the original Japanese voices (i.e. they dubbed the game, a major Jo-chan No-No >.<), but other than that...game play is fantabulous, and the storyline was awesome. Not to mention the graphics. Yummy! The game made me cry at some parts. ;.; And I just loved how they made the characters look all chibi and stuff. <3

Alas, I've never played the first Grandia, 'cause I don't own a Saturn. ;.;

Well, my entire exposure to Grandia II is through the review in the Hyper>> magazine. I thought it looked good, but I won't be able to play it unless they port it to GCN.

THEY'RE CENSORING SKIES OF ARCADIA GCN! NOOO! HOW COULD THEY?

That's why I'd really love to play the original Japanese games, because they're not censored or dubbed or fooled around with in any way. >_< Unfortunately, the only ways to do that would be to a) get a Japanese Dreamcast and Grandia II or b) get a Japanese Grandia II and a card that lets my American Dreamcast support imported games.

They re-released the first Grandia for PS some time ago. So if you have a PS then you can play the first one ^_^ (I have no idea where you can get a copy though ^^;;)

Bah, don't own a PS, either. But! Another game series of UbiSoft's that also rocks is the Evolution series. Now, they kept the original Japanese dialogues for these games - so why not Grandia II? Is it because Grandia II's a longer game, therefore using more dialouge?

Jo-Chan? Where did you get your signature from? (I have this itching feeling I said it somewhere but I'm not sure.... I can almost swear but there's enough doubt there to make me ask) Hmmm.... (I don't have a problem with you using it if it is something I said. I just want to know if I'm just imagining things or not ^^;;)
