Spirited Away

Post by chromus »

Another movie I saw a while ago and am now just writing a reveiw about...

Spirited Away is the animated story of a girl who overcomes personal obstacles ala Princess Mononoke type situations.

The character development is superb, as each character is gradually laid out with a full story and personality. The visuals are very simiar to Princess Mononoke, and as such, they're pretty good. The storyline is a bit contrived, as more and more "quests" are thrown at the main character so she can solve her major problem, but it's interesting.

All in all, if you liked Princess Mononoke, I think you'd like Spirited Away.

It's a decent movie... one more for mid-teens to enjoy... (I.e. too advanced for the Barny age... too childish for the Bebop age)
Locke- a man of mystery and intrigue...hunting for treasure the world around. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside doesn't it?
