Ask Chromus
And there's the fact that the blue colour of the screen is supposed to be calming...
...well, that's what my Internet Design lecturer says, anyway.

Sorry it's taking me so long to answer these questions. Ever since I got my new job, it's been hectic and I've had little to no spare time for anything.
Well, whether or not blue is a calming color is up to the viewer, but it does seem to be true, as it is a very neutral color and doesn't "jump out" like red or green. This isn't really a valid source, but it does describe some properties of the color blue: http://www.solarraven.com/BLUE.html

I'm not sure why English is such a popular language. It probably has something to do with the pride and arrogance of the British during the colonial era, forcing whole countries to change everything, including the language spoken. Combined with the effectiveness of English management, it's not surprising that English has spread all over the world.
Not everyone in the USA hates Bush. Very few people truly hate him, with a large portion just disliking him. There are even quite a few who like having Bush in office. In fact, as of the begining of May, there is a 70% approval rating for Bush. Source: http://www.gallup.com/poll/releases/pr030501.asp. This may not sound like a lot, but it's 210 million people backing him.
On a side note, I'm sorry that I'm not posting as often as I should. I've become very involved in a live action role-playing group called Dagorhir, and combined with my job, free time is a scare commodity. It has also been revealed to me that my later comics suck. I'll try to bring the quality of humor up a notch, but you might have to wait for it.

Ok here's a first! I have a question! What is a DOE defendant? Reason why I'm asking is that my mom got some papers delivered to her that said the county was suing her for back child support and then they turn around and a week or two later they send her another set of papers saying it was defaulted and that she's going to pay anyways. (I don't see how they could do this considering there was a court date.) On the paper saying they were going to collect the money without even waiting for the court date it said something about DOE defendants... Anyways... an answer to this as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated ^_^
BLORG!
Except, of course, for that fact that that sounds... really stupid.
