the square ones are my style. i know they suck, but cut me some slack. all i have a MSPaint.^_^;; and what did you think about the COMIC? i mean, the joke and all? dern it, i worked hard on it!

Phreddy, not everyone likes rounded rectangles as talkboxes. I know that I couldn't use them, let alone want to, because I'd have no way of getting them the right size to align the text in :/

That's not the point Chromus ^^;; My comics aren't supposed to make sense. It's supposed to be humorus(SP?)! If you look past the fact that you wouldn't forget the laws of gravity isn't it funny? *looks at chromus with big huge puppy dog pleading eyes*

GAH! One of my jokes was copied even before the end of the current contest! ("Why am I even here?" Same line different character)

And reguarding the Rectangle tool thingie... I just use it after I place the text where I want it. That way I make the rectangle to fit the text rather than the text to fit the rectangle.

And that's all I have to say for now :P

Yeah, that's what I do. I put the text into a blank picture, then put a rectangle around it giving a min 1 pixel gap, then copy it into the main picture.

Now tell me how I could do that if I was using rounded rectangles.

Well, here's my first entry in a comic contest:
