note: forums will go down sometime on saturday for a database move/backup/restore type dealy....also the server gets more bandwidth 6x+ more bandwidth. arent you all happy? and a note to dt--PASV ftp will *work* on the new server, file manager script will not! that should not be a problem since you can use PASV ftp to get around your firewall issues....notice that i said FORUM and not SERVER. if all goes according to plan (which it never ever ever does) ONLY the forum section will be down, and that only for a few hours.

i swear we're not having server trouble right now. and btw i wouldnt be uploading anything to the ftp...it won't get where it's s'posed to go right now......and i hate comps that randomly turn off.......geez.....

Hmm...

FTP, or File Transfer Protocol, is an easy way to upload your files to the Internet, rather than using a website's uploader (like Geocities or Tripod).

But beyonder or chromus can give you a more detailed description.
