Right on the heels of the success of Dan Brown's "The DaVinci Code", National Treasure is about a treasure hidden over the ages by the Knights Templar, then the Masons, in order to protect humanity from someone who would have too much power. The only problem is, the bad guy knows how to find it, so Ben Gates (Nicholas Cage) must find it first.
I enjoyed this movie, since I'm a fan of mystery/spy movies and Nicholas Cage as an actor. There weren't any flashy special effects, but the movie was more about the interesting plot twists than the action. I'd reccomend this movie, though some people may not want to spend the money to see it in theaters.
