Crystal Chronicles

Post by Twilkitri »

Is a lot better than I expected.

We're only up to the 4th year at the moment, because I only got the game on Thursday, but I've liked what I've played of it so far.

...anyone have the Myrrh Tree music? I love that tune...

It's good stuff, but not really fun unless you have four people playing.

I agree, it's really fun multiplayer.. But not with a new character and everyone's on year 20 or something :|

Gah. Spent so many hours killing off that stupid plant bit by bit, only to die horribly against Raem. Maybe if I had stats which were over 100 instead of barely over 50 (or below 50 in some cases) I might have done better.

Good! We thought being an alchemist was just pointless.

My brother is the son of an Alchemist, IIRC. I'm the son of the blacksmith.

I've got a heap of plans in my inventory, I should see if I'm able to get any more of them made yet.

My party consists of a blacksmith, an alchemist, a tailor, and a merchant. We get to craft most things quite well because of the blacksmith/tailor and merchant for whatever we need to make items. Of course, we only play when all four of us (Myself, Chewi, RosCoe, Jorudel) can play at the same time, so no character gets an unfair advantage, but also making us progress very slow.

Ahh...good game! I think that you can face the final boss on year 7 at the earliest, but who would be ready by then? I can't remember what class my character is, but it is the one that starts with the lowest strength, yet strength is my strongest skill at the moment... I agree that multiplayer is better, but only if there is 3 or 4 players. With 2 players, it is almost like one player, but one of the people plays the part of Mog, so only one person fights. I have some tips for multiplayer, that I am sure you all know, but I will tell them anyway, for those who might not know them.

1) Always look at your bonus for the level, such as "pick up money" or "dont heal" and stick with that for hte level.
2) In a boss battle, put the chalice in a place in the battlefield where everyone can stand and attack the boss, so that there isn't a useless person standing around with hte chalice.
3) If you have the chalice, don't be evil and run away from your team, leaving them to die in the miasma...My friends got mad at me for that...
4) Don't run from enemies. They will all chase you and there will be a huge mob killing you...not good.

That is about it for now...

The game is ok... although it shows capitilism at it's highest point.

Multiplayer
1)Buy Game
2)Buy Memory Card
3)Buy GBA(s)
4)buy GBA/GC link cord(s)
5)Possibly buy another memory card

I dont have that kind of money.... i probably would if i didnt waste it on other games I can play since I have no one to play games with here and that will keep my attention for extended periods of time :O
