Poor DT, him and his being Austrailian. Summer is great, 'cuz of the no school, but you should try to get jobs! They're very nice, and the earlier you start, the better off you'll be.

I'd like to get a job. But I keep on being told I'm too young still.

I'll be going to Pennsylvania this summer to visit my dad and look for reptiles as well.

I'll probably just be doing my boring old data entry job the whole time.

In your mind. I hate the cold.

Just to confirm what Pez-Man inferred, is it winter weather down in Austrailia, DT?

Well, I don't have a witty sarcastic remark to put there, but yes, it's Winter. Not only can you tell via his comments, but you should know that anyway, since he is on the opposite side (North-South, I think). Though, I agree with DT that Winter > Summer in terms of weather.

Well, it didn't hurt to check. Plus, don't you remember that unseasonably warm day in January, in the middle of winter? It's possible that the weather is also abnormal on the other half of the globe.

I have a somewhat narrow band of temperature that I'm comfortable in, but I seem to be able to tolerate the heat much more easily than the cold.

General and average temperatures, not freak heat-wave things.

Well, that was what I was asking about. It may be winter down there, but it could be warm.

I dislike heat... i prefer the cold... of course, at about 20F is the cutoff line of wearing my shorts and short sleeve shirts

strangely enough, 70F+ is the temperature where I am most often wearing long pants or jeans

You wear short-sleeved shirts and pants at 20 degrees F? That's below freezing! You must be kin to a icicle.
