Ame. peoples got FF4, 5, 6, and Chrono Trigger on FF Anthologies and Chronicles, I don't know which were on which. AFAIK Aus. people only got FF6 rereleased for the PSX/1

I've played and beated 1, I'm currently playing 2, and 3 I got about half way through in the ROM.


My List from greatest to least? (With points from 1-100 and commentary)

VI- 96 (Perhaps the most fluid, easilly adaptable FF ever)

I- 95 (Can't get much better than the OG of American releaced RPGs)

II- 83 (With such a unique style to it that no other FF is even like it, how can you not rate it high)

VII- 80 (Good graphics for the time, great soundtrack, slacking somewhat on storyline... and then there is Yuffie... *shudders*)

V- 74 (Too much like FF3 for my tastes, but it's a great game with an invigorating story line none the less. Another bonus is that, like FFI and II, there's a place near where you start where you can fight creatures of significantly high power, while the creatures in this spot aren't too overpowering.. I wouldn't fight 'em till I was over level 10.)

IV- 73 (Too easy to cheat in, yet the farther you go... the more you realize you NEEDED to cheat, still a great game.)

IX- 72 (I'm sorry Kamui... but there was something about it which was just... boring to me. But the Soundtrack, Graphics, and Charators who aren't dry (big plus) keep this game with 70+ points in my book)

III- 51 (Too advanced for it's time, with a complicated class system. Besides... would you really want to start out the game as an Onion Kid?)

X- 49 (extra points for a kick-ass Soundtrack and decent CGs's...and Yuna....and Rikku.... and Lulu.... plus Wakka's a rooster and Auron's a bad ass... that's about all that's going for 10)

VIII- 12 (What a horrendous Plot... @_@ Plus bad charactor interactions. The pluses? A decent mini game called Triple Triad. that's 'bout it.)



5 and 6 came in Anthologies, 4 and Chrono Trigger came in Chronicles, 1 and 2 came in Origins.


Of course... then you've got to get into discussing leading ladies... my book has Celes of FF6 at top, followed Closely by Dagger of FF9 and Aeris of FF7. Yuna (FFX) comes in at 4 and Quistis (FFVIII)follows up at Numba Five.
