Did anyone see this anime? Is it any good? ^_^;; I only read the first 6 mangas.. Pretty good. I'd recommend it to anyone.
But is the anime any good? Cuz I know a lot of the time the Manga is really good, but the anime isn't as good (Gravitation)..

Nope. Full Metal Jacket is a movie about the horrors of war in Vietnam, while Full Metal Alchemist is about the search for the Philosopher's Stone.

If they're not related, then it's just a coincidence. It's not a rip-off if all they happen to share is just a part of a name.

Yeah, I know that similar names don't mean a rip off, but the first thing that came to my mind when I saw Full Metal Alchemist was Full Metal Jacket.

if you literally translate the title (hagane no renkinjutsushi) it means 'steel alchemist' i guess fell metal just sounds cooler... it's a good series...a bit long (51 episodes + movie). getting close to the end. better be a good ending. i hate it when good animes have bad endings.

Yeah i especially like this even though its only 8 episodes in the series it is definitely gonna be a good one.
