Well, an old fashioned way is to, again, use sound recorder. Smurgen has been a GREAT help in getting me most of the songs I used for the old comics, since I wasn't good with music code, I did it the simple way of having the song simply last for however the comic lasted. Of course, when you have a comic with next buttons, there is no set time for how long the comic lasts, so I had to come up with a new method of playing them. Now, I just have a small collection of songs, downloaded from various random places, and edit them so that they're just long enough to sound decent in a loop. I use sound recorder to edit the songs. For both ways to put music in flash, both are able to loop. When you place a song in a frame, the properties window will have a box where you can type how many times you want the song to loop. If you're using action script, the .start() function has a parameter where you pass in the number of loops you want. |
