As per Chromus being the new DM, here is the new thread for the adventure game. Have fun!

This post is the first in the new adventure, and it will serve as a starting point for all of those who wish to play.

Our story begins during the age of knights and dragons above a typical forest. Bright green trees strech as far as the eye can see, with the exception of a large, snow-capped mountain to the north, jutting out of the landscape. Looking down, a small clearing in the trees is seen, where a group of adventurers sits, resting. They've been sent by the head of the state which the forest is part of to investigate reports of trouble. Coming closer, we can see the individual members of the group, sitting on the ground and on small boulders, resting their legs after a long walk.

This is the part where each player introduces themselves, and perhaps a little about the character, like race, gender, and class.

My character's name Is Epsilon Demitri
He is a human monk whose weapon of choice is a quarter staff
He is around 32 years of age and prefers agility over strength

My character's name Is Johalva Dunach
He is a human warrior whose weapon of choice is an axe
He is around 27 years of age and prefers strength over agility

My character's name is Zach Zarin.
He is a halfling rouge whose weapon of choice is a bow.
He is around 34 years of age and prefers stealing weapons rather then using them.

My guys name is The Plum.
He is a plum with small feet and fingerless hands, and he likes throwing rocks at people and telling them pointless stories about onions.
He mutated from radiation, so he is about two months old, but acts like a 19 year-old, and he is incredibly stealthfull and agile, though his other abilities suck.

When I was newly created, I was attacked by crazy chefs. Johalva accidently saved me somehow, and now I follow him around, much to his dismay.

(I'll be starting with the characers so far, but if you want to join in, all you need to do is post your character profile, and I'll find a way to integrate your character into the story)

Looking around the clearing, we see The Plum sitting on the ground in front of a boulder, chattering to himself about his latest recipe for onion soup. Next to him, Zach is perched upon a boulder, warily eying the four exits from the clearing, one leading in each cardinal direction. Johalva is leaning upon a tree to the south of the clearing, near where the group entered, fingering his axe. Epsilon stands in the center, looking towards the other three.

All of a sudden, a scream erupts from the north-east. It's quickly silenced, then followed by indecipherable grunts. The grunts sound as if whatever is causing them is heading north from it's original position.

So, there are paths going north and east. The screams came from the NorthEast, and they're heading north. "I suggest we head north, to find out if there is any "loose change" on those things."

I throw rocks at the boulder to make it move.

Discription:
She is tall, thin, and beautiful (okay, now I want to kill her!)A quick warrior, she is light and fast, but not very strong,so she must rely on her quick wits for the most part. She also uses the same wit to annoy others that she travels with,and she is always seen with a snow white barn owl resting on her arm.

I blatantly follow Pez-Man's lead.

I am in a forest, and my owl is flying above me, searching for a town. We are travelers. I spot DT and follow, hoping he'll lead me to a town.

I'm waiting for Zornak to respond before I go on with the next step.

Rainalin: Though you entered only shortly after the game started, you did come after the first step. I mention this because I wanted newcomers into the game to wait until I introduced them into the story, not to just interject themselves, as it might cause problems. Your entrace will do, for now.

I would also appreciate it if every participant avoided posting in response to anyone else's post until everyone who is a part of the group has a chance to respond. That way, those who don't log in as often will be able to keep pace.

I also go north, and stay in the back of the party to make sure nothing comes after us from behind

The path to the north winds further and further into the forest. Zach leads the group, with Johalva following. A little distance back, Epsilon watches warily behind them, bringing up the rear guard. Suddenly, a snow-white owl streaks across the sky, and Ivy steps in between Johalva and Epsilon from the forest. Right as she stops moving, a scream breaks out directly north of the group. It sounds different from the first scream, as if it comes from a different person. Whatever is happening up there, it involves more than one person.

Back in the clearing, The Plum stares intently at the boulder which he hit with a rock. There hasn't been any movement by the boulder.
