Sure, but just don't compliment him too much. Then he'll become a genious with an ego, and that's something no one wants. |

I promise not to become too proud of myself, but there's always going to be that little bit. Anyways, bring on the questions. And no funny questions either, like "What happens after we die?" or "Is there a god?" because there's no way for me to answer them. |

Ah, chromus.
You know those little castles, right? The ones you put in fishtanks?
Do they have moats? _________________ ~Twilkitri~

Well, these are some good questions. I'm going to answer them in reverse chronological order, simply because that's from easiest to hardest.
DT: No.
Seriously, though, it won't have a moat most of the time. A moat is defined as a "deep, wide ditch, usually filled with water ... as a protection against assault" (Dictionary.com) so unless the castle under the water has a ditch around itself for protection, no moat.
SnV: Economics.
Economics classes teach entrepreneurs to make the most money possible legally. When applied to movie theaters, this means to prohibit outside food from coming in and making viewers eat only your food. Since you have a micro-monopoly, you are in charge of the price, so you set the price as high as possible so that you make the most money overall. Don't set the price higher because, even though you make more money per unit, less people buy and the profit is overall lower. Don't set the price lower because the additional people buying food won't cover the profit difference with lower prices.
Beyonder: In this case, I can only offer guesses.
For the green screen, that would seem like a broken codec. Go to www.divx-digest.com and download the newest XVid codec. As for the encoding problem, I'm going to need to know what encoding software you are using. |

Zornak: Pez is right. A gamecube has an internal, rechargeable battery solely for the purpose of keeping time. The battery recharges while the gamecube is plugged in. This whole set-up is very similar to how a computer can keep time while it's not plugged in.
SnV: They actually do, but it's harder to notice than human beards. The reason behind this is that monkeys don't shave. For those of you who shave, notice that you have to shave at shorter and shorter intervals, instead of being able to shave, say, every three days. This is because our bodies respond to our lack of hair by pumping up production of hair. It doesn't know that we don't want the hair, it assumes that we need the hair. Those really long beards are only formed by repeatedly shaving the same area and then finally letting that area grow out. By the time your body realizes that there is enough hair in place, it's already too long. Monkey "beards" are very short, seeing as how it almost never needs to be replaced. |
