LOL Yeah, maybe you should have gotten a sound card instead of more space? Unless, of course, you needed the extra space?

Let me put it in simple terms.

Uni = University = what you go to after High School

HD = best mark you can get

getting four HDs out of four classes this semester = keep scholarship = have money = get new computer soon = teh win

Ah...I see. I don't think we have HDs over here in America (unless we do and I've missed something ).

But good job, DT! ^_^

As a college student, I can say that most colleges go by a A, B, C, D, and F system here. There is no letter E because F simply means, "Failure" and does not represent a letter grade. The equivalent of DT's 4 HDs would be 4 As here, I believe.

We use letter grades for High School, and for Assessment Tasks in Uni, but for the overall grade for Uni courses we use something different. I can't remember all of them, but it's something like:
0-40% NN(I think) (<Something> Not Satisfactory, Fail)
40-50% MN (Marginal Not Satisfactory, Marginal Fail)
50-70% ?? (I can't remember... there could be more than one...)
70-80% D (Distinction)
80-100% HD (High Distinction)

I'll see if I can find a list somewhere and post it.

Ah-ha...it all makes sense now.

Yeah, our grading is, as chromus said, A - F.

100% - 90% = A
80% - 89% = B
70% - 79% = C
60% - 69% = D
59% and below = F

And then there's always A, A-, A+, etc. o.O
