I choose .gif

.gif = CompuServe Graphics Interchange File. These are the small, 256 colour only ones. Can be animated.

.jpg = JPEG file. These can have different sizes depending on the quality you set them for. The higher the quality, the larger the file.

.png = Portable Network Graphics file. Larger than .gifs, but higher quality than .jpgs for a smaller size.

.swf = ShockWave Flash file, ie, what Pez-Man uses. Can be interactive.

.bmp = BitMap Picture file. The largest, but the best quality (It saves the picture exactly, there is no way quality can be lost unless the file gets corrupted). Cannot be viewed on the internet normally.

Other = Any I've forgotten, or formats I haven't seen.

Flash helps you do animations easier? I would have thought that it'd be harder to animate in Flash than Anim. Shop.

i like flash
i think its cool
but yeah - ive used Anim. Shop - its not to hard - i mean Adobe photoshop can do it too -- gifs are maybe easier - since i don't have flash...
or knowlege of how to use flash....
or ... errrr ... i dunno
but the not stealing is a good aspect - but someone could
*****
think about it
if they saved the site - converted the html to their needs and then opened what they needed in flash....(some aspects of this are wrong i know - but it seems logical)

well, you could just embed the sound in the page..but u'd have to get the timing just right....so it's the only practical one...
