Well, these seem rather easy to answer.

First, the sound from a modem usually comes from a little speaker on the actual modem, or, if you have a special modem, the sound is routed through your sound card.

Second, the volume can be modified by editing your modem's properties, this is done differently, based on what OS you are using, so post back with that and I'll help you.

Thirdly, you can't delete the "Recycle Bin" because it's a vital part of Windows. It just can't be removed.

Fourth, I don't know the exact reason, but I believe Microsoft called it the "Recycle Bin" instead of the "Trash Can" because the former sounds a lot cleaner than the latter.

I always thought it was called Recycle Bin 'cause you were "recycling" kilo/megabytes so that you could use them again.

how do you recycle the kilobytes? you dont get any memory back untill you empty the recycle bin

What she means is that the space used by the files that are being deleted is being made available for use by new files, in a sense, being recycled. Similar to how the metal in cans is recycled, making it available for use in new cans.

Jo-Chan: Well, that "funky green stuff" is actually a chemical reaction between your fingers and the ring. These reactions depend on two things: some form of alloy in the gold, and salty hands. The sulfur and salt in sweat mixes with certain alloys used in gold jewelry and leaves a green/black smudge. To prevent this, wear a ring with a higher gold rating, keep the ring away from salt, or use a hand powder free of zinc oxide to keep your hands dry.

Zorn: Judge Doom.

is the flag that Neil Armstrong put on the moon still there?

According to NASA: "It is uncertain if the flag remained standing or was blown over by the engine blast when the ascent module took off." I guess no one really knows if it's still there.

why dont they just go check?

Probably something about not wanting to spend all the money to send another ship to space just to find out if the flag is still standing.

Here's a question:

What's the difference between a geForce 4 MX440 and a geForce 4 MX440SE ?

Oh, and...
Who actually uses the Recycle Bin anyway?!? It's just a waste of time, IMO. I just shift-del stuff. And yes, I know you can set it to automatically bypass the recycle bin.

Phred: Umm... That's not right. My best guess would be that the white stuff is pus and the moisture is just water that didn't evaporate, but that is somewhat unusual.

Zorn: The SE version is slightly less powerful, and therefore, is cheaper. Other than that, there's no difference.
