I think Vorpy was offering criterion to determine whether or not Sonic Shuffle was cel shaded, though no one thought otherwise. Didn't I already offer some sort of cel shading explanation in Ask Chromus?

Well, sorry, but you can't really blame me for forgetting a post that happened so long ago. When Vorpy answered the question, I had no idea what he was referring to.
On topic: Yes, cel shading is a good style of animation, so long as it is executed properly. When it's done poorly, it can ruin a game.

Wouldn't it be funny, now, after the success of TWW, if other companies started jumping on the bandwagon and making cartoon-cel shaded versions of their major properties? (Not Killer-7 type cel shading).
Grand Theft Auto: Cel City
Cel Gear Solid
Celo 2
Microsoft Flight Celmulator

Cel looks cool in some games, but not too many games are moving to it.

There are PLENTY of games that aren't cel shaded, so it's less of "lots of games are becoming cel-shaded", and more of "lots of games aren't cel-shaded."
