You're going to have to write an extensive explanation as to how you can make a FPS turn-based, because it really doesn't make any sense as to how the game would be played.

Not an RPG with guns, there are plenty of those. A first-person shooter, that is turn based.

As I said before, it would go something like this:

Team 1 has a certain amount of time, let's say five seconds, to do whatever. Run around. Shoot at Team 2. Jump off a tall building. Whatever.
Then their time runs out, and they freeze, no matter what they were doing. Even falling off a high building.
After a second of null time, Team 2 is activated from their frozen state and do whatever _they_ want to do. Etc. Etc.

You could even do things like handicap it by specifying how long each team's turn was.

Frenetic. That would be a good description.

It makes a little more sense like that, but it sounds more like a mod for Half-Life then a standalone game. Not to mention good players could line up headshots painfully easily. It's generally plausible, but it'd probably make for a crappy game.

most FPS games could be a mod for halflife anyway, and good players can line up for headshots easily too. what's your point?

The enemies couldn't move, so even crappy players could get really easy headshots.

Which is why headshots can be taken out, as well as pumping up health so that people can't take, say, a full turn of 2/3 people firing non-stop, but can (just) take less.

Or something.

It could be done, but it probably wouldn't be very good or fun. Too many complications.

I pretty much agree with Pez on this but then again im just bad at FPS games so i wouldnt really have that much fun anyways, but it just doesnt sound like somehting that lots of people would really want to play for very long and if u need lots of people for it to erally work properly...
