Do we want Synchro back here?
It is my considered opinion that we use _ANY MEANS NECESSARY_ to get her a new computer. ANY MEANS.

Chewi, I'm tending to agree? Your presence is little more then random posts, but that makes you just like anyone else.

There are a few of us that aspire to be more than just random posts, but it's hard when there aren't many to read the boards. Perhaps you (Pez) should advertise the comic and the board?

Look, I'd love to advertise the comic. I've even had big names (Dave from Bob And George) promise to link to my comic at least once, but they don't. And I certainly can't ask them now, because now they charge for advertising. As much as I like this place, I can't just pay bigshots to put up a banner for my comics, as I have to spend money on more important things, like games. Seriously, I might have used money to advertise if this site was good, but it's just a tiny forum and a guy who updates a comic every few days. People like daily updating, and that's hard for a comic which tends to be at least 40ish "frames" (which would be 10 daily comics for a 4 panel comic.) All the subcomics are dead/rarely updated, and theres not much else for the site to offer. Not blaming anyone, since I understand why, but if all the subcomics updated semi-frequently, or if I updated every day, or if these forums were bustling, then it would be a good excuse to put money into it. But putting money into such a small site has no guarantee of getting any results.

I didn't mean internet advertising. (Look how well Buzz Comix or TWC has worked...) Why not advertise it to friends here at college, or to random people by using a whiteboard or flyers? The only reason this forum isn't bustling is because there aren't enough people to sustain a high level of traffic.

Whiteboard = stolen and/or destroyed, which has happened to a few people on my floor. Stickers? Where am I gonna get stickers from? Posters? Where am I gonna get posters from? It's hard to advertise something like this site via something like posters and stickers, because it's so small. A whiteboard would be the best choice, but I'm not going to risk wasting money. I'll think of something, but word of mouth would be the best way to advertise for now.

I didn't mention stickers, but that's a good thought. You can buy stacks of pre-printed stickers for cheap.
